I'M MOVING TOMORROW! I'm very, very excited! I'm finally moving to the city..! My new apartment is on Lake & Wells. It's super cute and in such a great location... less than a mile from Jo & Nad! I can't wait.

I just got back from Vegas. Again! Out of the blue on Saturday Jo's brother asked if we wanted to fly to Vegas & stay at the Palms again. Uh, of course! He flew us out there on Saturday night at 9:45. We were running at the airport to catch our flight, but we made it. Jo couldn't go, so it was Nadia, her friend Jill and me. We got there at like 1am or so, went to the hotel and got ready to go out. We went to Ghostbar and had an insane time. We had so much fun- we got anything and everything we wanted. I drank an entire bottle of Cristal (not fun the next morning). There were so many hot guys- the waitreess started bringing them to us. It was crazy. Can't belive people get to live like that everyday... definitley beats normal life!
Sunday we went to the spa. Got massages, nails done, hair done, eyebrows, etc. Then I decide I need to go on a shopping spree in the spa gift shop. I was a crazy woman buying everything I could get my hands on. I got a new Chi straightening iron which I wanted forever but didn't want to spend the 150 bucks on. I also got the entire Kerastase hair product line. All the stuff I would never spend my own money on. We dropped about $3,000 at the spa... INSANE!
Then Sunday night it was back to Ghostbar. We didn't want to leave the hotel because we would have to pay for everything. (Imagine that!) Bottle after bottle of Cristal, Belvedere, etc. Crazy style. Best part is our host ended up being a guy I grew up with. I was friends with his sister years ago and his family lives next door to my gram's house. It was such a surprise to see him there! Had a huge crush on him and so did Nadia. After signing our $5500 dollar tab, the girls went to Mandalay Bay with some people but I went to bed. Way too tired to keep up! I'm still in shock at the amount of money we spent. Give us the opportunity and we'll go crazy. I guess her brothers bill when he checked out was over $30,000! And he doesn't have to spend a dime. Must be nice to live like a rockstar everyday. Speaking of, we saw Lance, Joey from Nsync. Definitely wish it would have been Justin!
Had to recap for future reading. I'm still exhausted and in shock from the whole experience. Spending money is so much fun.
Work today was torture. I didn't plan to be out of the office yesterday and everything went crazy. Tomorrow I'm going to Philly for work. Should be interesting. I just wish I wasn't traveling alone. No fun. |

I FINALLY got a new car!!! I went looking on Monday with my mom and ended up buying a 2005 Nissan Altima. I'm in love! It's a charcoal grey color and it's so cute. I'm so happy to be driving a nice car. My little Nissan 200SX was on it's last legs. It's very exciting.
Last night I went to the Maroon 5 concert. It was fun. My friend knows a guy who does security for concerts and such and he lets her go to shows for free. It was great- he met us outside, walked us in and we ended up in the front row. The show was good but really short. We got to go to the meet & greet thingy after the show but the band never came out. I felt really bad for the 14 year old girls who were waiting. They were really upset. Friday we're going to the AudioSlave concert. I don't really know who they are but I figure it will be fun. I'd rather go to the Snoop show at Alstate myself, but the girls didn't want to. Ha.
Anyway, I'm off to take my final. I have two to take before Sunday and want to get them finished before the weekend. I'm loving my HRM classes. They're very interesting and I can apply what I learn at work. Speaking of work, I'm going to Philadelphia for a few days in May. They need me to do some work at one of our jobsites. So I took my third trip to Vegas last week. It was amazing! It was just Jo and I this time and we were on a major budget. We were staying at the Boardwalk - a shitty hotel. It was spring break and March Madness so all of the hotels were super expensive. Anyway, we were about to check in to the hotel when Jo called her brother to say Hi. He was like "where are you guys staying?!" and told us not to even check in. He called us back in 5 minutes and informed us that we had a grand suite waiting for us at the Palms! Our room, all of our food & drinks were all free! It was the best vacation ever- we really felt like we were rich. We ate at every restaurant, ordered room service and drank as much as we wanted, all for free. One night we went to Ghostbar and ordered 2 bottles of champange and a bottle of Belvedere... our tab was over $900! It was so nice to live like that for a few days- I'm sure we won't be experiencing that again for a long time!
It was so hard to go back to work- not fun at all. At least tomorrow is Friday and we can have fun again. We're going to a new restaurant- Blue Water Grill on Dearborn. Should be good. Gotta go finish my homework before ER comes on.

I'm going to NYC! Johara and I are taking a weekend trip in June! We just booked the flights today! Still need to find a hotel though. Kris might be coming too which will be awesome!!!
Also - I'm going to Vegas! Kris called today and I filled her in on my current drama. She's going to Vegas at the end of June with Braden and some of his brothers. So while the boys are off doing their gambling thing, Kris and I will be getting into some much needed trouble!
I can't wait!
It's amazing how spending money really cheers me up!
